So What is Big Data Analysis Anyway?
With the spread of computers, laptops, mobile phones and the Internet of Things in recent decades the amount, and the rate of data being created is growing rapidly.
Analysis of this "Big" data creates new opportunities in many areas such as human genomics, healthcare, oil and gas, smart meters, business intelligence, disaster relief, autonomous vehicles and smart grids. As the MIT Technology Review put it "Big Data is revolutionizing 21st-century business without anybody knowing what it actually means"
